On Thursday, 5th April, Dr. Christopher Martin (Calthech, USA) gave a talk at Complutense University of Madrid entitled ’Observations of Circumgalactic, Inflowing Gas with CWI’.
He described results of the observations made with the Palomar Cosmic Web Imager and the newly comissioned Keck Cosmic Web Imager of the Circum-Galactic Medium (CGM), and also provided a brief update to the planned flight of FIREBALL-2 to explore the low redshift CGM.
